we played crap today. that w**ker McDonald didn't help matters and made their second goal. he is one of the most one sided ref's I've seen in my puff.
Bryson cleanly wins the ball and he gives a free kick. he then fails to notice at least two clear hand balls, jumping with arms, an elbow on Malone and gives them free kicks when no contact was made. he shouldn't be allowed to officiate Sunday league football never mind the spl.
we played crap today, but bringing Gary bollan off after 15 minutes was a bad decision. if i were him I would feel angry to and throw my tracky top on the ground. he made one mistake and he was taken off. i'd like to see if anyone else makes a mistake and costs us a goal, if they are taken off.
third goal wasn't offside, and I felt bryn could have did better
pass marks to only gilhaney and walker
Im not making excuses as Airdrie did deserve the win today but McDonald was having a joke and the linesman at our side didn't know what his flag was for. shocking display. Well done to Airdrie though also that guy telling his own fans to shut up was a d**k. Imagine shouting at a football game eh?

Well, that was pure shite....
Airdrie beat us hands down and we can't argue with that. We were dire.
That ref display was amongst the worst I've seen in my life. Diabolical. I hope his kids grow up to be Thistle fans. cvnt.

It was no surprise Airdrie beat Clyde today, Airdrie have been the best side ive seen this season, if they can sort out their consistency problems they will be moving up the table no problem. They played 100% till the final whistle at love street and got their just rewards.
As I said last week, the worst? Clyde.

Extremely disappointed. When you play away from the home, the first thing you do, is make sure you don't concede in the first 20 minutes. We pushed too far up and got punished. The first goal, was Bollan's fault IMO, and Bryn could have probably done better.
The second goal was again Bollan's fault, but this time it came after that tosser McDonald missed not one, but TWO high footed challenges in the build-up. This after blowing for a foul against Conway for a similar offence which left him clean through.
After this, we brought Gilhaney on for Bollan and he took a hissy fit. Gilhaney did not bad but the game was as we had no presence up front.
In the second half we had a fair bit of possession but did nothing with it until Walker/Wilford came on. Gibson I thought was having a reasonable game, so it was a surprise when it was him and not Sheridan (who had been booked and was shirking every tackle) who was replaced. I know Rugby won't believe me, but Wilford definitely changed things. He won several headers and had a couple of decent efforts on goal. Walker also gave us a bit more pace in midfield. Both should start next week.
Then came the 3rd goal. Bryn had just hurt his shoulder again and this probably had something to do with him not saving a shot inside his near post. However, that doesn't excuse Simon standing like a complete pleb with his hand up claiming for offside whilst Gow runs through. If he keeps running, he catches him and at least forces him wide.
A deflected (pretty sure it was anyway) shot by Walker gave us some hope but we simply weren't good enough. For some reason playing against Airdrie makes us lose the plot. We play best when we sit back and hit teams on the break. Yesterday we sat too far up the park and had two goals scored against us. After that, it all came down to who scored the next goal.
Only plus points for Clyde were the three substitutes, especially Wilford and Bryson who was my MoM (for Clyde anyway).
As for Airdrie, McLaren is pish
Apart from one Kevin James-esque dive and a couple of utterly bizarre freekicks given away by Bryson (more on that referee later), he was completely outplayed by Bryson. Now Gow is a different matter. Strong, skillful, with two good feet, he's the most creative player I've seen in this division and I include Latapy in that. I can see why Gretna would want to pay lots of dosh for him.
I don't want this piece to give the impression that we were to blame for our defeat. Airdrie were simply the better side and looked much better than St Johnstone, Partick Thistle and Ross County. Perhaps this win will spur them on to achieve a higher placing in the league. They have an element of "thuggery" in their side and that's a useful thing to have.
Now, onto the main point of discussion. That fud Dougie McDonald is the most inept thing to hit this planet. He is a waste of space. Whether it's the couple of blatant handballs he missed, the baffling decision in the corner against Bryson when McLaren pushed him
, the random missing of two pairs of high feet in the lead up to the 2nd goal, the calling back of play when people are running clear, the failure to notice McManus' jumping with his elbow technique, or the tug on Wilford late on in the box, or his general fuckwittedness, the man is a joke and for me, ruined a decent game of football. Every single time he referees a game he spoils it, not just for Clyde but for both teams. The man is a tosser.
