By Chris Mac November 10 2004
It was suggested that as well as the fans view I should add what our opponents view of the game was so here they are Falkirk supporters thoughts on Saturdays game.

It was a pretty decent game.

Good to see big Crazy Horse get a clap from the FFC fans.

I thought Latapy was excellent, as was Nicholls and Campbell was immense for the second week on the trot.

No negatives tonight - there are, but not worth mentioning after a good win.

£65 my way from Billy Hill with the correct score up. biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

Other points of note: That car park must be THE worst to get out of, and BA sneaking out before the end dry.gif

Still top of the league, having a laugh! cool.gif

Missed Latapy's goal mad.gif

Campbell was immense for the 2nd week in a row smile.gif

Airdrie played good football, certainly not relegation candidates on that showing. Really should have scored in the 1st half as we were pretty poor dry.gif

Is there a course Yogi can go on to improve his tactical ineptness or shite substitutions ????

Falkirk Brain

Pleased today with both result and performance.

Night and day from last weekend as a spectacle, which confirms my belief that St Mirren dragged us down to their level for a week whistling.gif

Airdrie played well, some nice football, but looked a bit weak at the back. Don't think they will go down though as long as Coyle keeps eating his Weetabix and drinking his Horlicks!

Quality goal from Latapy was worth the admission price alone.

Unfortunately we have the diddy cup final next week and not another league game mad.gif

Wasn't a bad game today considering the way we've been playing lately. We still looked poor definsivly although Mark Campbell was outstanding again. Lawrie had a pish first half and Hagi was well off with his passing. Improvements on last week from John O'Neill, Darryl Duffy and Andy Thomson. I thought Duffy was outstanding today, unlucky not to get a goal and should have done better with his one on one, just appears to be lacking a little bit of confidence infront of goal at the moment but his link up play was superb. Latapy scored an absolute peach, one of these volleys that comes off the boot and seems to be going in slow motion, just outside the box and off to the right caught the ball beautifully and bent it into the far top corner. Andy Thomson took the second well after a the ball was slid through, turned his man and slipped it under the keeper.

Never felt Airdrie were out of it though, our defence looked dody and Coyle had two chances that i would have expected him to finnish but luckily for us didnt.

Inot the second and Airdrie deservedly came back into it, an unmarked Coyle taking a bread and butter chance after a well worked move. We came straight back, Duffy was sent through one on one which the keeper save, I think it then broke to Thomson whose shot was blocked but Andy Lawrie prodded home.

After that it was just running the game out. A great game all round, i doubt Airdrie will go down but Kevin Christie still looks poor although he did get a round of aplause from the Falkirk fans biggrin.gif .

Game wasn't too bad! We played well and got 3 points at the end of the day!

Latapys goal was a screamer-i thought it was going wide. Thomson & Lawrie took their goal well too! Felt sorry for Duffy just before Lawrie scored, he only had the goalie to beat and missed it. Poor lad - im sure he'll score next week tho! wink.gif

Rowbotham was ok, god knows where he got some of his decisions from today-some were just shocking.

Why cant Yogi just keep his mouth shut for one game-it was nearly the final whistle and he had to be spoken too by Rowbotham. unsure.gif

I hate being a Falkirk fan sometimes cos people just moan whether we are winning, losing or drawing. Then moan about subs - why they werent out warming up. Scally, Mountinho, McBreen and Marshall all warmed up at some point during the second half.
