Raith had a lot of possession during the match on Wednesday night but as anyone who sat through the Rangers match on Thursday will testify possession without goals means nothing.
Allan Russell on the other hand didn't have much time on the ball so instead chose to use his head and secured us the advantage we take in to today's game. Defensive mistakes, goal keeping errors don't matter a damn, Russell had to be there to take the chance and he did.
Rumour has it we may be with out Kevin MacDonald today, early in the game against Raith he tweeked his ham string and after playing most of the season with shin splints the playoffs may just be a few games to much. I hope he makes as he has definately turned things around after last season.
Stephen McKenna and Stephen McDougall remain sidelined with long term injuries.
