Cold but dry the game should be on!
By Stomp Admin April 19 2008
It looks like we may have a Saturday game in Airdrie, i've not set foot outside yet and it looks cold but dry, the wind may also help to remove any excess water from the pitch surface. It's going to be a tough one to call, Airdrie are playing to secure second spot in the league and build confidence going into the playoffs and Alloa are fighting to maintain their hold on the final play off spot.

We go into this match with two injury concerns, long term crock Stephen McDougall and Stephen McKenna who is out with a broken wrist.

Alloa will be with out defender Derek Fleming for this match.

The Airdrie fans taking part in the predicition league have gone for a home win.

Prediction Stats Airdrie v Alloa
Home Win:  84% [32]
Away Win: Percentage 2% [1]
Draw:  13% [5]

With the likely score being?

2-0  34% [13]

2-1  23% [9]

3-1  13% [5]

Todays match may also go a long way to deciding who will win the predicition league.

Also announced today on the Airdrie United official site, Season ticket holders are to recieve a £5 discount for the home play off match.
