RMI made the short trip back from Lancaster empty-handed after falling to a 2-0 defeat to the Dolly Blues at their Giant Axe home.

Former Bolton Wanderers academy starlet Mike Eckersley gave the home side the lead within the first five minutes of the encounter, before Sean Paterson completed the scoring twelve minutes from full-time, plunging RMI deeper in to the relegation mire whilst in the process virtually guaranteeing Lancaster's position in the Conference North next season.
