After last night's 2-1 victory at Vodkat North West Counties League Division One side Formby extended Leigh's pre-season winning run to three games, they face Vodkat North West Counties Premier opposition in AFC Fylde, who are a little further behind in their pre-season preparations with only one friendly played so far, a 2-0 home defeat to Blue Square North newcomers Fleetwood Town.
Leigh Genesis manager Steve Bleasdale has a full-strength side to choose from, with summer signing Jordan Stepien making his first appearance of the summer during the second half of the victory over Formby after recovering from a hamstring strain.
With a home game against Woodley Sports on Saturday, Bleasdale is likely to give valuable game-time to much of his squad as they continue preparations for the upcoming UniBond Premier League campaign.
It is worth stressing that Kellamergh Park is situated in the Warton area of Preston rather than Kirkham, around five miles from Junction 3 of the M55 through the village of Lea Green, with the ground situated directly behind the Birley Arms pub, with parking available in the pub car park or a field adjacent to the ground.
Kick off is at 7:30pm, with admission costing £5 for adults, £3 for senior citizens and £2 for under 16's.
