As was the case with winger Jerome Watt, Karl O'Donnell was an impressive performer as a substitute in Tuesday evening's 5-0 pre-season friendly victory over Atherton Collieries, scoring the final goal of the Leigh victory, a deft lob over the goalkeeper in stoppage time.
The twenty two year old striker, who has Conference North experience with Vauxhall Motors, came through the same Liverpool youth team as Genesis goalkeeper Tim Dittmer and has also appeared in the UniBond Premier League with Marine.
With his pace and eye for goal, O'Donnell is sure to provide a valuable addition to the Genesis squad alongside fellow strikers Richard Chetcuti, Jordan Stepien and Darren Mansaram.
