Albrechtsen agrees deal with Derby County

Derby County boss Paul Jewell has announced that an agreement has been reached with West Brom which will allow 28 year old defender Martin Albrechtsen to join the Rams. The Danish international is out of contract at the Hawthorns, and will leave this summer for Derby on a free transfer.

Albrechtsen has made 138 appearances in four years with the Baggies. 

Jewell believes he will provide vital competition for places in defence for the Rams, with him being able to feature at left or right back.

Mowbray on the other hand continues his search for players to strengthen his squad.
