No deal for Bostjan Cesar at Baggies
By Jemma Tappenden May 28 2008
On loan defender Bostjan Cesar will return Marseille this summer after Albion terminated the players services after a 12 month loan spell. The Slovenian defender who moved to the Baggies last summer had come with the option of a permanent move. But boss Tony Mowbray has decided that Cesar is no longer part of his long term plan at the Hawthorns.

Cesar boosted Albion's defence during the 2007/08 season in which they finished Champions of the division, securing promotion to the Premier League.

He made 19 league starts plus 1 substitute appearance for the Baggies in the League, scoring 1 goal.  He also made 2 FA Cup and 2 League cup appearances, notching up a total of 7 yellow cards for the season.
