The forceful Husky Sport team - Christian Iddon, Jay Smith, Dave McKee and Mike Wright - are heading to Wales this weekend for the third round of the British Supermoto championships. Llandow circuit is situated only a few miles west of Cardiff, and will draw big crowds without a doubt. An impressive track consisting of smooth grippy tarmac, long fast straights and slow chicanes will make the racing very different from usual, and should provide plenty of high speed backing-in. The circuit also boasts a specially designed off-road section with a huge tabletop jump, carefully crafted berms and six evil washboard jumps - plucked straight from a Supercross arena.

The Husky riders have been successful in recent races, and will be hoping to carry this success into the third championship round. Christian, Dave and Jay will be hoping for fewer crashes this weekend, and will be hoping to score double points in both races.

Christian will be ensuring of another win in the 450 and the Open Class and, although the competition in both classes is tough, he is more than competent of challenging his rivals. The current British Champion has suffered enough bad luck so far this season, and will be looking to put those memories behind him in gaining himself some very valuable championship points in Wales. Christian is currently lying third in the 450 Class, and fourth in the Open Class, so consistent points is what he will be aiming for.

Dave McKee, still the new boy to the Husky Sport team, has settled in nicely and this fast sweeping track should suit this Irishman’s impressive riding style. Already having gained podium places, Dave is still looking for the win and is eager to be stood on the top step of the podium. Only one point behind his team-mate, Iddon, in the Open Class standings - lying in fifth - it’s all very much still to play for.

Jay Smith is keen to improve on his recent bad luck and once again will be flying the Husky flag. Struggling to gain consistent results from the start of the season, he is on a mission to get himself back onto the points table and improve on his eighth place in the championship.
