
John Yapp has come up through the Cardiff ranks, making his club debut aged just 18, boxing day 2002 against Ebbw Vale.
He plays with 100% compassion and comittment and is a huge hit amungst the Cardiff faithful. Now 22 cardiff born Yapp has been in Mike Ruddocks squads for the 6 Nations, USA and Canada Tour and the Autumn internationals.
He made his debut in the famous victory over Englad, which kick-started Wales' Grand Slam. he came on as a substitute, playing well in the loose and in the scrum. He is one of few Welsh players able to say they've won a Grand Slam, Tripple Crown and 6 Nations.
Yappy makes up a young, all-Welsh front row including Gethin Jenkins and Rhys Thomas, a trio that are sure to take Cardiff to silverware over the next 5 years.
Yapp is signed on until the end of 06/07, but is likely to remain with cardiff, having rejected Wasps last year when resigning with Cardiff.
