Adam Carroll splits with Honda Racing F1
By Phil Huff July 31 2006
Adam Carroll has parted company with Honda Racing F1 with immediate effect. Part of the Young Driver Programme, Carroll asked to be released from his contract with the team.
Adam tested with Honda Racing F1 throughout 2005, but is keen to remain racing. Despite hitting budget problems in July last year, Carroll has continued in the GP2 race series, winning three of the most demanding races - Monaco, Spa and Imola. Carroll currently lies 10th in this years championship on 24 points, while team mate Javier Villa has yet to score.

Carroll's request to leave the programme was honoured by the team, and the 23 year old will now further his career elsewhere.
