Cwmbran 1 Caernarfon 0 - Match Report

A brilliant 25-yard effort after just 18 seconds was enough to secure victory for Cwmbran, despite a second half battering from Caernarfon.

It was a fantastic way for young Hurlin to get his first goal for the club, with the long range strike that gave Ian Willcox no chance in the Caernarfon goal.

Caernarfon had more than enough chances to get themselves back into the game, Rodgers and Mottram missing good first half chances, and Scott Millington missing 3 inside a 10-minute spell in the second half.

Cwmbran's good defensive run survived though, their 4th clean sheet in 5 games. They've certainly tightened that area since Roger Gibbins took over.

Caernarfon for their part seem to be in need of a good striker to finish their excellent play outside the penalty area.

Not a bad game in all.
