Should Rhyl, Bangor, Nomads etc be allowed to join the English pyramid? Should the 6 current 'exiles' return home? Bangor fan 'Mash' gives us his views on the controversial subject.
Wales or England?
A subject which is at the forefront of peoples minds at the moment and is dividing the views of the fans on which is more prosperous, FA cup or Europe? Although I’ve had mixed views over the years, and at one point lost complete interest only for it to be rekindled by Bangor’s near relegation into the Cymru Alliance. Which was more shocking than my girlfriend leaving me!! So I’ll sit on the fence for this one with one foot on the Welsh side, as there is a saying going around my head ‘Better the Devil you know’
What’s being done to stop more clubs exiling?? I know one thing I’d do, and that would be to swap jobs with the suits at the FAW and give them a taste of my work. Which is locating landmines using search dogs. I hope you can grasp my point here, People rely on me to do a job and if I don’t carry it out with 100% conviction it could result in the lose of limbs or even worse a fatality. But I don’t ask for any special recognition I chose to do this job, as did the people in the FAW. So in my opinion they should be guiding and assisting the Welsh Premier and it’s clubs through the minefields of the UEFA’s criteria’s.
There are a couple of other saying going around my head, ‘The grass is always greener on the other side’ so the FAW need to stop clubs defecting and start playing a proper role, Because ‘Action always speaks louder than words’ The only other thing I have to say is:
COME ON CITY
Moidering Mash (Bangor's Somaliland Branch)
