Note that all seats for Centre Court are pre-sold for the last four days of The Championships.

You can get tickets on the day quit easily. 1000 for centre, 1 and 2 and 6000 outer courts go on sale daily. There are 2 queues on route from nearby stations. They are Wimbledon (British Rail and District Line) and Southfields (District Line)

Food and drink

Taking stuff like Crisps/biscuits/sweets and drinks in bottles is ok. However unless you want food poisoning salads/sandwiches/cook foods shouldn't be taken in (believe me I know!). Also don't take drinks cartons in with you. Mine leaked all over my bag last time. Bottles are ok. 500ml are best, as they won't go flat. The gates close around 2130 so you have time to go into the town to get more food before queuing again if your going for more then one day at a time

Stuff to take

To camp out you will need a tent, role mat and a sleeping bag. You can get a tent in Index for £24.99 and two role mats for £3.95 each. There is a place outside the ground where you can get changed and leave the camping stuff. You can leave stuff outside the ground for £1 per item.

Stuff inside the ground

There are several shops and food stalls inside the ground. There is a chemist, post office, newsagents and Internet machines. Food costs a fortune so only get lunch and supper there. It's best to get newspapers outside the ground as you get some freebies as well.
