Rovers were sent crashing to their fifth successive league defeat, a 3-0 defeat at the Memorial Ground proved to be hard to take for Gasheads as they showed their discomfort once the final whistle blew.
Andy Morrell scored two first half goals to put the game beyond doubt. The second half kicked off with Rovers coming out looking a lot better however, within 20 minutes of the second half The Pirates found themselves 3-0 down with a lovely piece of skill from Lee Trundle which fooled Adam Barrett and left him with just the 'keeper to beat before slotting the ball home from close range.
The Gas were awful, the only positive thing to take out of it was perhaps the feeling that maybe something will happen in the coming weeks which will turn things around.
