A New Way Of Reporting: Crystal Palace 1-1 Wolves

He's back.
By Scott Cooper December 10 2005
STUART Smith, co-editor and forum moderator of wolvesfc.co.uk has come up with a new phenomenon, a new face of football reporting and an idea which will save reporters reporting on games involving Wolves a lot of time...
New Page 1

..It's the recyclable Match Report.

The Idea:

Wolves continue their run of <insert number> draws, against <insert team> in a game which they dominated for a good< insert number greater than 60.>% of the time. Chances fell to <insert strikers name, and randomly select 2 midfiled players> but none was able to convert.

The best chance of the game fell to <insert strikers name> who should have scored from <insert number, less than 12> yards out but failed to hit the target.

After the match manager Glenn Hoddle said"<insert suitably annoyed football cliche> and warned his players could expect <insert random threat of extra training> in the next few days

With Wolves now sitting <insert number, increase weekly by 2> points behind league leaders <insert either Reading/Sheffield United>, they know that their next game against <insert next opponent> is a must win and anything less than 3 points could see them slip down to <insert number greater than 10> in the league.

The Report:

Wolves continue their run of 4 draws, against Crystal Palace in a game which they dominated for a good 60% of the time. Chances fell to Kenny Miller, Mark Kennedy and Darren Anderton but none was able to convert.

The best chance of the game fell to Kenny Miller who should have scored from four yards out but failed to hit the target.

After the match manager Glenn Hoddle said "Kenny should have scored" and warned his players could expect shooting practice in the next few days

With Wolves now sitting 24 points behind league leaders Reading, they know that their next game against Leeds United is a must win and anything less than 3 points could see them slip down to 12th the in the league.
