Missed Sitter
Hoddle was left fuming after Wolves could only manage a point in a game which they created enough chances to win three games. Leon Clarke twice missed guilt edged chances, as did Darren Anderton, Mark Kennedy, Vio Ganea and South Korean Ki-Hyeon Seol somehow contrived to hammer the ball over the bar from four yards out when it looked far easier to score than miss.
The first half was a pretty poor as a spectacle with neither goalkeeper being severely tested, but it was after the break when the comedy show from the men in gold and the man in the black really took centre stage.
Wolves opened the scoring ten minutes after the break when the superb Colin Cameron saw his speculative shot take a wicked deflection and loop high over the 'keeper and into the net.
Wolves started to take full control of the game but referee Stroud gave the home side a lifeline when he incredibly deemed a clean and great Gyepes tackle as a foul. To the amazement of everyone inside Portman Road - including the Ipswich players - Stroud pointed to the spot and Stefan Postma could only push Richards spot kick into the top corner.
Ipswich started to grow in confidence, but during the last twenty minutes Wolves took control of the game at an alarming rate. Winning balls in midfield, solid at the back and showing a will to win Wolves created four superb chances. Amazingly however Wolves failed to take any of the chances, to the huge annoyance of boss Glenn Hoddle.
"Maybe I need to change the way we train - I'll feel like having five days off and leave the fitness coach to run them into the ground. I have told them that they're in for a hard week after this." Said Hoddle after the game.

Wolves next travel to Crystal Palace in a bid to clinch their first win in four.
