Wolves use new interactive coaching system

WOLVES boss Glenn Hoddle has been using a new interactive coaching program it was revealed today. The "Pro-Zone" system is the most advanced player-tracking devices available. New Page 1 New Page 2 New Page 1

The system was used in the final games of the season and cost £200,000. The computer system tracks every individual players performance and relays it to a DVD which the players take home to study.

The "Pro-Zone 3" takes videos of games and transfers it to 2D animated graphics which shows how far an individual has run, how many tackles he has made and where he is most dangerous on the pitch.

The system can also be used to scout players and will highlight individual performances from opposition sides who stand out the most from the setting inputted by the club. For example should Hoddle be looking for a ball-winning midfielder, the Pro-Zone 3 will give him a list of midfielders who have made the most tackles from the opposition.

The pro-zone 3 cost in the region of £200,000 and was used towards the end of the season in order to work out the best fitness routines for each player during the closed season. The players each took home a DVD with their own individual routine in order of being one step ahead when the players return from pre-season.
