Oakes pens two year Wolves deal.

WOLVES goalkeeper Michael Oakes has penned a new 2 year deal which will see the former Aston Villa shot-stopper be contracted until the summer of 2007. New Page 2 New Page 1

Michael Oakes has become the second Wolves goalkeeper in a week to sign a new contract following the news that Matt Murray had signed a three year deal earlier this week.

Oakes signed from Aston Villa in October 1999 and has made an impressive 182 appearances in the old gold and black.

Last season he made 34 league appearances, 2 Carling Cup appearances and one appearance in the FA Cup defeat to Arsenal.
