IF Reading didn't like Wolves before the game, they certainly don't now! A superb performance from Wolves ensured Wolves won their final away game of the season whilst the Royals look set to miss out on their play-off hopes, again.

There is no getting away from the fact that Wolves Fans have been let down by the club this season. Blame shouldn't be sent in the direction of just Dave Jones, just the board or just the players. They have all let the fans down together, but once again 2,000 fans, with nothing left to play for, packed the away end at the Madejski on a sunny Saturday afternoon.

The fans may have been let down on the season as a whole, but since Christmas and the arrival of Glenn Hoddle Wolves have slowly started to improve and in recent weeks have shown performances like the Wolves of old.

On Saturday it was another superb performance and for the first time this season fans showed their appreciation to the man who they hope will push Wolves back to the Premiership. "Glenn Hoddle's gold and black army" was sang with passion and on the recent performances, should the former England boss stay, then Wolves should be a real force in The Championship next season.

The performance on Saturday made it 17 games without defeat and one defeat in 25 whilst our hosts must now go and get a result at Wigan if they are to stand any chance of reaching the play-offs.

Wolves dominated the game from the start and didn't deserve to be trailing 1-0 at the break. The opener came in the first ten minutes and Nicky Forster scored his first goal against Wolves since scoring Readings only goal in the Play-Off semi-finals almost two years ago.

A long ball was pumped forward from Reading 'keeper Hahnemann, Dave Kitson headed the ball over the back four and Forster guided past Oakes on the volley.

Cue delight from the Reading fans, cue an excellent response from Glenn Hoddle's men.

From that moment on it was a barrage of attack after attack with Seol, Olofinjana, Ricketts and Cameron all going close before the break.

However despite all the attacks it wasn't until the eighth minute of the second half when Wolves drew level. The impressive Lee Naylor swung in a corner and 18 year old Leon Clarke headed the ball past Hahnemann to level the scores.

Wolves deserved to be leading but another draw looked on the cards as Ricketts, Seol and Olofinjana all shot at Hahnemann without success.

However with six minutes left the lively Ricketts - who said in the week he's love to sign for Wolves permanently - raced into the box and smashed the ball home ensuring Wolves completed the double over distraught Reading.
