FA CUP | Wolves 2-0 Millwall | Two goals in the opening 20 minutes saw dominant Wolves overcome last season's FA Cup finalists Millwall. Seol and Cort bagged the goals, but less than 13,000 were there to watch.

An excellent first 20 minutes saw Wolves kill off Millwall at a half-empty Molineux Stadium on Saturday. Wolves Fans had voted with their feet and boycotted the game in anger of the poor start to the season, but Seol and Cort served up a treat for the die-hard fans who were in attendance.

 

Hoddle recalled Murray and Ince to the starting line-up and both played huge parts in what was the first win for Glenn Hoddle and a first win in seven games for Wolves.

Wolves were dominant from the start and took the lead after just 8 minutes. South Korean International Seol scored his second goal in three games with another long-range strike from the edge of the area.

The game was effectively put out of Millwall's reach four minutes later with former Newcastle man Carl Cort heading home a Kennedy cross to put Wolves closer to the fourth round.

Millwall failed to pose any threat in the first half, but Barry Hayles missed a sitter late in the second half when he missed the target after rounding Murray with the goal gaping. However it wouldn't have made any difference to the overall result, Wolves were in full control and Hoddle was already looking ahead to next weeks visit of West Ham United.

 

 
Paul Ince returned to the starting line-up with maximum effect.
