"...Jingle all the way, oh what fun it is to see the Crewe win away" was sang for the small scattering of Crewe fans in the 88th minute. Crewe were leading at the time thanks to a Lescott own goal, but it was a case of counting their chickens a tad too early. Wolves went and equalised.

An own goal from Joleon Lescott and a late equaliser by Carl Cort handed Wolves a deserved point at a cold and windy Molineux stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Glenn Hoddle handed Shaun Newton the right-back shirt and Kenny Miller completed the only two changes from last weekends 1-1 draw with Watford.

Wolves attacked the Southbank in the first half and though't they had taken the lead mid-way through the firs half, but Miller only managed to hit the post when scoring looked easier.

Wolves lack of sharpness infront of goal cost Wolves dearly as Lescott turned the ball into his own goal after a Crewe free-kick in the 38th minute.

David Vaughan's cross was glanced towards goal by Dean Ashton and the ball fell to Lescott who turned the ball past his own 'keeper.

Wolves huffed and puffed after the break to no avail. That was however until the 90th minute. Substitute Ki-Hyeon Seol provided a neat cross from the left and Cort acrobatically sprung himself towards the ball and headed past the impressive Crewe 'Keeper.

It's two points from two games for Hoddle, but wins are needed.
