GLENN Hoddle is probably regretting signing on the dotted line at Molineux after Tuesday's performance against Millwall. People claimed a 6-month contract wasn;t long enough for Hoddle...He's counting the days already!

GLENN Hoddle is probably regretting signing on the dotted line at Molineux after Tuesday's performance against Millwall. People claimed a 6-month contract wasn;t long enough for Hoddle...He's counting the days already!

Stuart Gray lashed his players after the game as new manager Glenn Hoddle sat, in disbelief, in the the directors box.

"The disappointing thing for me is that we have got a new manager in the stand and I have been telling him how well we have played of late and then we put in a performance like that," Said Stuart Gray.

"I told Glenn how we like to get the ball down and play and then we kept playing long balls that gave Millwall just the game they wanted."

"Maybe some of the lads were trying too hard to impress the new manager instead of playing their normal game and it didn't pay off, I don't know I am not a psychologist, but what I do know is that too many of our players were below par."

Wolves were poor from the off and Millwall made Wolves pay early on when Scott Dobie fired home from close range. 

Kevin Cooper got Wolves back into the game from the Spot mid-way through the second half, but Millwall again hit back condemning Wolves to another defeat.

"The players have got to lift the crowd and it took a while for that to happen. But, once we got the penalty then I fancied us to go on and win it. Then their strike took a deflection, it went in and that was it." Gray Added.

Hoddle has one hell of a task on his hands.
