SEYI George Olofinjana, Carl Cort and Joleon Lescott's first goal for two years were enough to win Wolves a point at Bramall Lane on Saturday, the home of Sheffield United.

SEYI George Olofinjana, Carl Cort and Joleon Lescott's first goal for two years were enough to win Wolves a point at Bramall Lane on Saturday, the home of Sheffield United.

Wolves Caretaker boss Stuart Gray was full of praise for his Wolves side after a late Joleon Lescott volley secured a point in an end-to-end game at Bramall Lane on Saturday.

"All credit to the boys because they stuck at it and deserved a draw, maybe even a win." Said Gray, who has won two, lost two and drawn one of his 5 games as Caretaker boss.

Wolves took the lead in the 7th minute, before Bromby leveled the scores with a neat volley 15 minutes later.

Wolves reacted the brightest after the break and, after Cort had hit the post, the former Newcastle man hit the back of the net following some great interplay involving Olofinjana and Cameron.

However the scoring had not finished and Sheffield hit two back. Firstly Thirlwell scored followed by a lovely piece of skill my former Gills striker Paul Shaw.

Wolves were heading for a second consecutive defeat, but golden boy Joleon Lescott struck two minutes from time earning Wolves a deserved point.

"Overall I thought we had the better chances in the game and when you score three goals away from home you expect to win the game." Said Gray.

"I'm disappointed with the defending. Sometimes it's the second ball you have to defend and unfortunately on a couple of occasions we didn't do that."
