DIFFERENT Manager - Same old rubbish! Wolves went down 3-1 at the Stadium Of Light on Tuesday and once again showed the fans who traveled hundreds of miles that they still have no pride, passion or desire for the club.
It's not a case of tactics, nor is it a case of Kennedy playing left-back. People moaned about Jones' tactics and his liking to playing players out of position, but the problem at Wolves is much more simple than that.
The players couldn't give a toss. - That basically sums it up. They wouldn't work and try for Dave Jones and they haven't tried for Stuart Gray. When the next manager comes in, will they work for him? Not if they don't want to.
When interviewed about Jones' sacking, Rick Hayward said that he hopes he can find a man who could still get Wolves promoted this season. Sadly, relegation is now a serious possibility. Wolves are so so close to becoming the next Sheffield Wednesday.
All this performance has done, is ensure Gray doesn't get the job full time.
