 Wolves Manager Dave Jones is close on signing Brazilian Striker Mario Jardel the Sun today reveals.

 Jardel was released by Sporting Lisbon at the end of the season and is now believed to be in talks with Dave Jones and Molineux.

 Jardel was once rated as one of the greatest Strikers in the World, but off-field problems have hindered his performance on the field.

 It is believed that Sporting Lisbon have lost patience with Jardel after he was involved in a drunken bust-up whilst staying in a hotel.

 This rumor has been doing the rounds for some-time and if Wolves Fans would hope Jones will be able to land the Brazilian and bring the 29 year old back to his best.
