 Wolverhampton Wanderers have rejected two bids for star Striker Kenny Miller from fellow Premiership rivals Tottenham Hotspur.

 Wolves have been expecting competition from other Premiership Clubs for the 23 year old Scotland International after his 26 goals last season for Wolves and Scotland.

 Miller really impressed in Scotlands crucial Euro Qualifier against Germany, scoring the only Scotland goal after a quick move with Wolves team mate Colin Cameron.

 It is believed that Wolves twice rejected offers from Spurs for Miller who then turned their intentions to Brighton star Bobby Zamora.

 Wolves will still expect more competition for Miller who still has three years left on his contract, but the rejected bids prove that Wolves will be no push-overs in the transfer window as they hope to cement their place in the Premierships safety zone next year.

 * Wolves are also close on signing Cameroon International Goalkeeper Carlos Kameni and are interested in Senegal star Amdy Faye.
