 Jex Moxey has confirmed that the first Premiership Signings are very close and Wolves hope to make some announcements on the new signings within the next week.

 Wolves have been linked with many players in recent weeks, but the talk on the town today is regarding left-back Paul Konchesky. 

 Konchesky wants to play first team football, which he was not getting at Charlton to hopefully push him into the English International stage.

 Jez Moxey still fails to confirm or deny speculation but told the Birmingham Post that signings are on the way. 

"All I can say for now is that I am confident that we will be bringing in players that can significantly strengthen our squad.

"We are inching ever-closer to securing one or two of our intended targets and I am confident that something will be made public in the next week."
