Wolverhampton now has a Football Team which will grace the Premiership. The ground is in place, and at Cardiff the Players ensured Wolves would be in the top flight for the first time in 19 years, however the new all Black Away kit might not need wearing.

Wolves launched the new All Black Away Kit which Fans had been asking for last Saturday and the kit was sold in record breaking numbers.

The club shops even sold out of some sizes as fans spent more that £100,000 on the new kit, however after the fixtures were released on Thursday, it was revealed the club may never need to wear the black kit.

Wolves were forced to change strips in games against Bradford City, Watford and Norwich due to their strips being similar to the Old Gold of Wolves, but the Gold and Black shirt will be so unique in the Premiership, it will never need to be changed.

Club officials have been studying the fixture list and have announced that the Black Shirt will be worn in the Premiership, despite the need not being there. However, the all white Third Strip will also have to be worn, so opportunities to see the all Black Away strip will be limited.

Wolves merchandise manager Peter Pridmore told the Birmingham Post

"We're aware that there won't be much need to change in Premiership games but we will switch anyway on occasions,

England often change these days to red and white when they don't need to. It wouldn't be a good PR move to sell as many strips as we just have and then never put the players in it."
