Molineux To Become 30k

Officials at Wolves are planning to add 1,500 to one of the corners at Molineux to make the total attendance 30,000 for our first season in the Premiership.

The seating would be uncovered and temporary and would fill in one, or maybe two of the corners not occupied by big screens at Molineux.

Wolves have made it clear that no permanent seating will be added to Molineux until` a place in the Premiership is secured, which will be another year at least.

Wolves have plans to build on top of the Jack Harris and Stan Cullis stands and re-build the Steve Bull stand to make the total attendance up to 40,000 but whilst the fate of Wolves at the end of next season is unknown, the ground will only have 1,500 seats added.

Jez Moxey told the E&S 

"We are prepared to look at temporary seating and we are already looking into that right now," said chief executive Jez Moxey.

"We have started the process and are in meetings. The plan would involve filling in one or both of the corners next to the Jack Harris Stand which would increase the capacity by around 1,500 or so."

 The news of the temporary seating comes after the red-hot homecoming of the team when around 100,000 people turned up to cheer the players on as they returned from Cardiff.
