"Are You Watching Albion" Was the chant of the night as thousands of fans lined the streets of Wolverhampton to welcome the players back for their Premiership Parade.

Two open topped buses left Molineux at 6pm on Wednesday and made its way through the crowds as thousands of fans from all over the country came to the City to applaud the players who showed off the Play-Off trophy which marked Wolves place in the Premiership next season.

A selected route was made in accordance to the Police and Ambulance service` and the City was closed to traffic from 5.00pm and 7.30.

Fans watched the parade and then made their way to Molineux where a capacity 28,500 people were allowed.

The players received a standing ovation and made their way around the pitch as Status Quo`s "Rocking All Over The World" blasted over the tannoy system.

It was a carnival atmosphere with flags and banners being waved and the fans were thanked for their support by George Ndah, Dave Jones, Mark Kennedy, Jex Moxey and Sir Jack Hayward.

Sir Jack ended the proceedings my declaring "Next year we welcome Man Utd, Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool, but not the Baggies"

Oh how we smiled.
