Wolves Fans never fail to amaze officials at Molineux and the Gold and Black "Barmy Army" have done it again.

Officials at Molineux decided that the sale for the Reading Away tickets would go on sale at 7pm on Wednesday (7/5/03) and the ticket office was overwhelmed with supporters showing their true dedication and doing everything in their powers to get one of the 4462 tickets that were available for the Second leg next Wednesday.

Fans at the front of the queue camped outside the ticket office for around 20 hours to ensure they will get their chance to sing the Wolves on (hopefully to victory).

Many fans arrived at Molineux at 10pm on Tuesday night and spent the cold long night outside Molineux until` the tickets went on sale at 7pm.

As 12 noon approached, the queue was 1,000 people long with 7hrs to go until` the ticket office opened.

All tickets were sold by 10.50pm as fans chanted "If your all going to Reading clap your hands" whilst holding the £19 tickets for the Madejski Stadium.

Tickets for the Home leg went on general sale at 9am today (8/5/03) but many fans started queuing for the home leg at 6pm yesterday evening.

The queue was thousands of people long at 9am this morning and Molineux Officials are having to stop people joining the queue as they stand no chance of getting a ticket for Molineux.

Wolves Chief Executive Jez Moxey told the Official Website "The supporters never fail to amaze me."

"Our home support has been tremendous this season and our away following we boast is one that many Premier league clubs would be proud of"

"I just wish we had more tickets to go round for the Away leg but with our allocation we can only satisfy around a quarter of our season ticket holders needs.

The lengths the fans will go to ensure they are at the Madejski is remarkable. But, as I said, nothing surprises me with our wonderful supporters"

Whatever happens in the first leg, we can guarantee that the usual passionate following from the "Barmy Army", constructed of 4462 Wolves fans from our 12,000 season ticket holders will be there to push our team on to a hopeful victory.
