Wolves Striker Crisis

Dave Jones has been handed yet another crisis before Wolves entertain Leicester at Molineux. Its a crisis regarding the Strikers - They are all fit and on form!

Wolves have a strange habit when it comes to scoring goals. Wolves either appear to score goals by the handful or not at all - and with 80 goals scored in the league this season another omen may be heading our way before the Play-Offs.

 On the last 4 occasions Wolves have hit the 80 league goal mark, we have been promoted, and with 9 goals scored in our last 3 games we are hitting the Play-Offs in a rich vein of form.

Wolves have scored 3 or more goals 17 times this season, so scoring is not a problem, but what happens when all four strikers are on top form? This is something Dave Jones has to sort out.

Nathan Blake was in top form before he was injured for 4 months earlier in the season. His replacement, George Ndah stepped in, hitting the form of his life - scoring on a regular basis. 

Nathan Blake returned from injury and returned to the form he left of with, and whilst all of this was going on, Dean Sturridge and Kenny Miller were still scoring goals for fun.

Now, for the first time this season, all four strikers (Sturridge, Miller, Blake and Ndah) are all fit, and all four strikers are scoring at every opportunity.

Dean Sturridge - 10 goals 
Nathan Blake - 13 Goals
George Ndah - 11 Goals
Kenny Miller - 23 Goals

Nathan Blake is the latest player to return from a three-match suspension and he is itching to get back into the action to move his goal scoring tally past 13.

Talking to IC Birmingham, the Welsh striker said "I'm just hoping to be involved in the Leicester game at some stage, But the lads have done well in the last three games with two wins and a draw and that's fantastic."

Wolves entertain Already-Promoted Leicester City in the final game of the League Season at Molineux on Sunday in a game which will decide whether Wolves play Sheffield United or Reading in the Play-Offs. Either way, Wolves will be at home for the first leg, and away for the second.

Even though Leicester are promoted, Blake insists Wolves will still have a tough game.

 Blake said 

"I know Leicester are already promoted, But I imagine it'll still be a competitive game.

"We knocked them out of the Cup, so I'd have thought they'll be looking to get their own back and we need the three points, so that we finish as high as we can."
