back in his pit while both Alonso and Petrov had come back out. With twenty
minutes remaining Vettel was leading from Alonso, Webber, Massa, Petrov,
Hamilton, Kubica, Nico, Button, and Schumacher in tenth. Webber would also
come back out while Nico would continue with his run. Rubens was also out on
the track with seventeen minutes left in the session. With the drivers
having taken the edge off their super soft tyres it would be unlikely to see
any major changes in the times. Drivers like Webber were out on their heavy
fuel runs. Vettel was back out with the track now very busy. Massa had
returned to the track with of the top ten only Alonso still in the pits.
Alonso would come back out while Vettel would pit but would return after a

minutes remaining. Vettel's stop was to allow his team to check his car as
Vettel reported that he felt there was something loose. Alonso would pit
with only a few minutes remaining. Nico and Rubens were still in eighth and
twelfth while Alonso would return to the track. The session would come to an
end with the top ten remaining unchanged. Nico and Rubens would finish in
eighth and twelfth. It was a session that did not see any real
improvement from both of the Williams drivers. Now it was a case of whether
they will be able to find extra time overnight as they prepare for Saturday. |
