When will Williams win the WCC & WDC again in 3 years 5 years or 7 years time?

I think closer to 7 years than in just 3 years,....when do you guys think?

It could all change in 2022 and we now have potential money so who knows. When a team is so dominant with the best driver it can seem like it will never change. We were that once, then Mclaren, Ferrari, now Merc and so on.

I actually think that with the last independent team now gone, we might as well allow customer cars, or least 90% of the car.

For me the chances of a championship will all be based around how the new agreement turns out in terms of "levelling the playing field" If this does not produce the desired result the best I can see is a repeat of the 3rd place that Williams achieved recently and even then a whole lot of things have to happen.

Lots and lots of change going on internally, new design team and new manufacturing methods all being looked at, the future is positive, it will be tough as every team has good resources and very clever staff but we should be competing by the mid 2020's if we keep a competitive engine.

I think brilliance will win if spending is controlled. I was watching FP3 today and was awed at the way that Mclaren turned into Turn 5. Brundle commented later that it was like the Merc can do. So there is hope. It does take money but hopefully we have that now.

So it's going to be about talented design staff, facilities and the best management who can not only control costs but allow concepts to be explored.
